The vision of Turf Image is to provide geospatial consulting for clients using Geographic Information Systems & Global Positioning Systems. Our mission is to provide support for geospatial project development. The goal of Turf Image is to lower the cost of projects and geodata.

Our consulting team is known for providing cost effective Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Geographic Information Services (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS), & data management services using Environmental Sciences Research Institute (ESRI, Inc.) ArcGIS Software Packages.

Our company is part of the ESRI Developer Network and offers technical support for such products as ArcGIS, ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcExplorer, and ArcServer 9.3. We have been quite successful creating Enterprise GIS systems, notably in creating ArcGIS Server Applications. Turf Image currently serves over twenty customers in the geospatial consulting market and employs five people in the greater Monterey Bay and Los Angeles area.

Turf Image is an S corporation, formed by the State of California on March 14th, 2002, and has since experienced eight (8) successful and expansive years in existence. Our company is headquartered on the Monterey Peninsula on the Central Coast of California, with Southern California offices in Redondo Beach & Torrance. We qualify as an SBA small business and are well respected in our community for GIS projects.

Our company is an outside sales force for the leading provider of high resolution LiDAR data. The Airborne 1 Corporation provides advanced LiDAR technology and asset management to photogrammetric, surveying and mapping sectors worldwide. As an outside sales force for Airborne 1, we are able to provide the lowest cost for elevation modeling and surface modeling using LiDAR contour mapping.

Our company is a Charter Club member of the highest resolution commercial satellite available in today’s market, the QuickBird satellite managed by DigitalGlobe. We are considered the Satellite Imagery Ambassador to the Monterey County for DigitalGlobe. As a provider of high-resolution satellite imagery, our company provides georeferencing and orthorectification of imagery for a variety of clients, both public and private.
